Kazmunaigas (Kazakhstan) in January-August 2005 increased oil output to 6.2 m. tons

/REUTERS, Almaty, September 13, 05/ - Kazakhstan oil and gas state
company Kazmunaigas in January-August 2005 increased oil output to 6.2 m.
tons from 5.9 m. a year before, the company's message says.
During the whole 2005 Kazmunaigas plans to produce 9.323 m. tons in
comparison with 8.918 m. in 2004.
Kazmunaygas's subsidiary company Kaztransoil, which operates state oil
pipelines, in January-August fulfilled oil pumping in the volume 24.8 m. tons,
this is by 1.4% below, than for the same period of last year. The company
expects, that for 2005 volume of transportation will be 36.6 m. tons in
comparison with 38.4 m. a year before.
Volume of gas transportation through Kazmunaigas's another "daughter" -
Intergas Central Asia - grew by 4.1% in comparison with the similar period of
last year to 84.6 bn. cubic meters.
Volume of oil refining at Atyrau PR grew in January-August by 31.7% to 2.8
m. tons.
Company's revenues grew within the same period by 20.4% to KZT368.0 bn.,
and for the whole year Kazmunaigas plans to get KZT525 bn. in comparison
with 501.5 bn. in 2004.
Capital revenues of Kazmunaigas due to own funds in January-August grew
by 60% to KZT72.0 bn., whereas KZT165.8 bn. is planned for the whole year.
