According to results of the first half of 2005 Alliance Bank took the 5th position in Kazakhstan's banks rating

/Alliance Bank JSC, Almaty, July 26, 05/ - Alliance Bank JSC has summarized results of its activity in the first six months of 2005 - the bank has achieved considerable successes in its development. As of June 30 of 2005 bank's assets were KZT225.5 bn. and had grown since year beginning 1.9 times, liabilities - KZT208.5 bn. - grew 2 times. Equity capital totaled KZT17 bn., grew by 107% since year beginning. Bank's profit in the first half of 2005 totaled KZT910.3 mln. that is 2.4 times higher than profit earned in similar period of 2004. Results of the first half of 2005 evidences about changing of the bank's position in the rating of domestic commercial banks. Alliance Bank JSC has become the fifth in Kazakhstan by the size of assets, liabilities and equity capital. In January of 2005 Alliance Bank, according to results of its activity in years 2002 - 2003, was recognized by "The Banker" international edition as the most dynamically developing bank in CIS and Central European countries. In year 2004 the bank by all financial indicators achieved even more successful results. Alliance Bank JSC has ratings from "Moody's Investors Service": Ва2, outlook "stable". NP short-term rating on instruments in foreign currency and Е+ financial strength rating (outlook positive) and from Fitch Ratings "B+" long-term rating, short-term - "B", individual - "D". The active regional policy let considerably expand the network of representatives of Alliance Bank in the republic. At present the bank's network comprises 11 branches and 45 cash-settlement offices in 15 cities of Kazakhstan. In the nearest months branches in Shymkent, Uralsk and Aktobe cities will be opened.
