Founders of Eurasian industrial Association summarized results of activity in the 1st half of 2005

/EIA, July 22, 05, headquarters KASE/ - Enterprises-founders of Eurasian
industrial Association have summed up results of activity in the first
half-year. They all increased growth rates, excluding SSPU JSC, which
negotiates with Magnitogorskiy metallurgical plant about prices for products,
in comparison with similar period of 2004.
Within six months of this year TNC Kazchrome JSC made commodity output
for 578.2 basic thousand tons of ferroalloys that is 108 % of indicators of the
last half-year. Chrome ore output is higher by 9% - 1,733.7 th. tons and
manganese concentrate by 2% - 144.1 th. tons. Aluminium of Kazakhstan
JSC reached the level of 744 th. tons of production.
Shubarkol Komir JSC increased coal output by 42 %. Within six months
1,713.1 th. tons of high-quality coal were outputted here. Euroasian energy
corporation JSC produced 4,855.3 m. kWt/h of electricity (108 % in
comparison with the first half of last year), 34,655 Gcal of heat energy
(101%) and outputted 8,097.1 th. tons of coal (107%).
Although on account of well known reasons (disagreement with prices
offered by consumers) SSPU JSC in total volume reduced iron ore raw stuff
production (6690 th. tons that is 95 % compared to last similar period),
including pellets (4202 th. tons and 91%), concentrate output grew to 2,488
th. tons or 102% against the first half of 2004.
