/Corporation Ordabasy JSC, June 23, 05/ - Corporation Ordabasy JSC is Kazakhstan's big company acting on Kazakhstan's market for 8 years and covers almost all regions of the republic. The Corporation's headquarters is in Almaty and controls several branch clusters formed on the base of subsidiary companies. In the beginning the Corporation made major accent on the development of trade-intermediary activity, and then investment activity was gradually increased. Thus, Within 2001-2004 the Corporation became an active investor in many branches of economy, at that former trade functions were partially re-oriented in sale of subsidiary companies' products. In 2002 the Corporation came to securities market, and registered the first corporate bond issue in Securities market regulation department of the National Bank of Kazakhstan for making floatation on the domestic market in the amount of USD10 m. For the period since 2005 till 2008 the Corporation's purpose is provision of qualitative growth of its assets to USD1 bn. due to consolidation, foundation, purchase of new business enterprises and increase of the acting business cost. The Corporation's mission is to get profit by increasing Kazakhstan business competitiveness by means of introduction of optimal business models of economic branches' activities, production and sale of manufacturable and innovative goods and services, introduction of innovative approaches to the solution of investment and trade tasks of Kazakhstan companies. The Corporation's strategic purpose in this mission is switching from production company's functions to the functions of service-technological company, whose basis of competitiveness is: innovative approaches to business- decisions; high professional and prepared management; company's services differentiation; professional forecasting of needs of principal clients; rational planning and effective realization of plans. The Corporation's partners are leading companies of Kazakhstan, such as Pavlodar petroleum refinery CJSC, Kaztransoil CJSC, NOC Kazmunaygas, Petrokazakhstan Oil Products JSC, RSE Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, Hurricane-Munay JSC and other. Corporation Ordabasy JSC realizes investment and industrial projects in over 12 structural branches of Kazakhstan's economy through various affiliated and dependent companies, in Aktau, Aktobe, Almaty, Astana, Atyrau, Kokshetau, Shymkent, Karaganda. In November of 2003 there was registered Kazakhstan utility systems JSC (KUS), which gives electricity, water and heat to about 27% of country's population. KUS JSC was founded for improvement of public utilities quality, renewal of capital assets of utility enterprises, and also for development of competition on public utilities market. Aktyubinsk oil equipment plant JSC (AOEP) is functioning in oil equipment production sphere. The plant's goods is sold by The Corporation's structural branch. The project on Ust-Kamenogorsk reinforcement plant JSC was successfully realized. The plant became the leading machine building venture in Middle Asia. At present it gives a stable income. In South-Kazakhstan oblast Ordabasy-Agro LLP deals with growing cotton, initial manufacture of raw cotton on its own cotton-manufacturing plant and with sale of ginned cotton. A big project on foundation of a transport-logistics center is worked out in Arys city for increasing the volume of transportations through the territory of Kazakhstan, containerization of cargo flows and increasing of transit potential in Central Asia. In 2004 work on restoration and modernization of Interkomshina JSC began. At present it's the only plant in Middle Asia producing tires for cars, agricultural and mining machines. It produces over 200 types of tires for various types of transport. The complex of the Corporation's functional strategies and subsidiary companies' business-strategies is based on strategic priorities of economic development set by Kazakhstan's Government.
