Eurasian industrial association increased output by 5% in 2004

/REUTERS, Almaty, Tatyana Seroshtanova, January 14, 05/ - Companies-
founders of Eurasian industrial association increased commodity output in
the year 2004 by 5%, EIA's public relations department said on Thursday.
The staff of Eurasian industrial association comprises Aluminium of
Kazakhstan, TNC Kazchrome (unites Aktyubinsk and Aksu ferroalloy plants
and Donskoy ore-mining and processing plant), Sokolovsko-Sarbayskoye
production unit,
Eurasian energy corporation (EEC), which is situated in Pavlodar region and
since year 2003 comprises coal open-pit Shubarkol Komir JSC in Karaganda
region.
EIA and Russian aluminium producer RusAl in 2004 declare about their
plans to build in Kazakhstan an aluminium plant with the capacity of 0.5 m.
tonnes a year and a plant for alumina production with the capacity of 1.5 m.
tonnes.
