KASE determined leading operators of stock exchange's CS market in Kazakhstan in October and the first 10 months of 2004

/IRBIS, Assel Omarova, November 8, 04/ - Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) has determined the leading operators of the exchange's corporate securities (CS) market in October of 2004. Position of company in the list is determined in accordance with the stake of deals it has concluded in total gross-turnover of trades (total of purchased and sold shares and bonds). Moreover, only CS purchase and sale transactions at the secondary market, excluding work of brokers with state blocks of shares (SBS), are taken into account. Position of each trade participant is expressed in Kazakhstan tenge. A total of 26 companies took part in making of CS purchase and sale deals at KASE in October. Below is the list of ten most active operators in descending order of their stake in total volume of deals (headquarter of the companies are in Almaty, unless otherwise specified).
