PAMC "BTA Asset Management" CJSC renamed into PAIMC Premier Asset Management JSC

/IRBIS, Assel Omarova, September 23, 04/ - PAMC "BTA Asset Management" CJSC, the fourth largest company by the size of managing pension assets distributed press release devoted to the rename of the Company to pension assets investment management company (PAIMC) Premier Asset Management JSC. The press release also informed about change in structure of shareholders. From August of 2004, Premier Asset Management is being controlled by Resmi Group. Previously, Bank TuranAlem and Resmi Group were main shareholders. Press release state, that with 9 months of 2004 the company managed to increase size of equity capital (for the account of net income) and to form own portfolio that provides maintenance of pension assets. At present, Premier Asset Management includes PAPF Kazakhstan JSC, POAPF Kurmet JSC and PAPF Otan JSC. Premier Asset Management controls 9% or KZT 38,890 m of total pension accumulations in Kazakhstan. Currently, there are 7 PAIMC companies on the pension market excluding State Accumulative Pension Fund and APF Halyk Bank Kazakhstan JSC that manage their portfolio independently. [2004-09-23]
