In January-August of 2004 Mangistaumunaigas OJSC (MMG) extracted 3.4 m tons of oil or 432.42 thousands tons higher than in similar period of 2003. MMG plans to produce 4.850 m tons of oil in 2004 for a total amount of KZT 76.071 m. In 2003 MMG produced 4.8 m tons of oil. At present, daily average production of affiliated Kalamkasmunaigas equals to 10.600 thousands tons. Recoverable reserves of Kalamkas field equal to 166.6 m tons. From the beginning of exploitation, Kalamkas oil field produced 96 m tons of oil. Annual average production amounts to 3.7 n tons. Daily production of Zhetybai field equals to 4 thousand tons. Company's annual production growth rate is 5%. At present, MMG develops 15 oil fields. Total reserves equals around 960 m tons of oil, recoverable - 180 m tons.
