In the first half of 2004 Aluminium of Kazakhstan increased alumina output by 3%

/REUTERS, Almaty, July 13, 04/ - The only alumina producer in Central Asia
- Aluminium of Kazakhstan - in the first half of 2004 increased alumina output
by 3% up to 720,000 tons, informed the press-service of Eurasian Industrial
Association, which comprises the venture.
Besides Aluminium of Kazakhstan, Eurasian Industrial Association includes
TNC Kazchrome, Sokolovsk-Sarbay ore mining and processing group
(SSOMPG - major supplier of Russian Magnitogorsk metallurgy complex),
Eurasian energy corporation (EEC) and coal Shubarkol Komir JSC.
