/KASE, February 9, 2024/ – KazTransOil JSC (Astana), whose shares are
officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with
the following press release dated February 9, 2024:

In January 2024, the volume of transportation of Kazakh oil from the port of
Aktau for export amounted to 287 thousand tons, which is 76 thousand tons more
compared to the same period last year.
In particular, the volume of oil transportation towards the port of Baku from
the port of Aktau increased by 60 thousand tons and amounted to 116 thousand
tons. 171 thousand tons of Kazakh oil were shipped towards the port of
Makhachkala from the port of Aktau, which is 17 thousand tons more compared to
the same figure for January 2023.
In 2022, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev
ordered to increase the volume of oil transportation along the Trans-Caspian
corridor. In accordance with this instruction, JSC NC KazMunayGas and the state
oil company of the Republic of Azerbaijan SOCAR entered into an agreement
providing for the transportation of 1.5 million tons of oil per year from the
Tengiz field in the direction of the oil pipeline "Baku – Tbilisi – Ceyhan".
