/IRBIS, December 18, 03/ - Bank CenterCredit OJSC (Almaty) spread a press
release today, which states that on December 16 2003 in Brussels (Belgium) at
27th Euromarket Forum, dedicated to "Project Finance and Investments in
Emerging Markets", by results of research conducted by European marketing
research center, EMRC's Honorary Board awarded Bank CenterCredit OJSC as
"The best bank for small and medium enterprises".
Founded in 1992, EMRC is dedicated to assisting companies throughout the
world to take advantage of today's substantial and accelerating globalization
of trade. The association is headquartered in Brussels. It unites financiers,
scientists, representatives of international organizations. Euromarket Award is
granted twice a year.
Combined of well-known and highly appreciated top executives, the EuroMarket
Honorary Board was established following long experience with emerging
markets. It includes: David Hexter (Deputy Vice-President, European Bank for
Reconstruction & Development (EBRD), UK), Arthur Levi (Director for
Europe, International Finance Corp. (IFC), France) and Dr. Volker Neuschutz
(Vice-President DEG (German Investment Corp.), Germany).
According to bank's information, heads and analysts of international financial
organizations such as IFC, EBRD, Barclays Bank, Citibank, international
experts, private investors and entrepreneurs took part in Forum. During
three-day business forum participants produced various presentations, discussed
some reports and took part in round tables, dedicated to tendencies of
developing countries with transition economies, as well as project finance.
