/Kazakhstan today, October 21, 03/ - ATFBank intends to increase the share of small and medium enterprises in its loan portfolio from current 35% to 50% in 2-3 years. Timur Isatayev, the Acting Chairman of ATFBank, informed about this fact today, on October 21 in Almaty. In addition, T.Isatayev predicts that significant part of that increase will be related to realization of a new program of ATFB - "Franchising in Kazakhstan", which bank undertook in cooperation with Kazakhstan Association of Franchising. Moreover, speaking about the loan portfolio structure of the bank at present time, T.Isatayev informed that 8-10% is the share of retail businesses and the rest nearly 55% falls at account of large enterprises. However, as T.Isatayev stressed the volume of large enterprises financing will be gradually reduced by the bank, due to which its share in total loan portfolio will decline as well. ATFBank is in the list of the first second-tier banks composed by the National bank of Kazakhstan. There are bank's branches in 11 cities of Kazakhstan. [2003-10-21]
