/KASE, October 9, 03/ - Halyk Bank Kazakhstan OJSC (Almaty), whose securities are circulating under official "A" listing category of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange CJSC (KASE), submitted a copy of decision adopted by the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Kazakhstan dated September 19, 2003 #346. According to the mentioned decision Halyk Bank Kazakhstan OJSC was authorized to purchase a control share holding over Company on foreign insurance Kazakhinstrah CJSC (Almaty) with the bank's share of direct participation 33.19%, through affiliates - ALMEX Firm LLP - 46.08% and Accumulative Pension Fund of Halyk Bank OJSC - 16.7%.
