In January-May of 2003 oil extracting company "Mangistaumunaigas" extracted over 3 m. tons of oil

/Kazakhstan today, June 24, 03/ - Oil extracting company "Mangistaumunaigas" (MMG) extracted more than3 m. tons of oil in January- May of 2003. The company's official information says about it. At that there have been extracted 100 th. tons of oil over the plan. Within similar period of last year the company extracted 1 m. 858 th. 620 tons of oil. According to MMG's data, also only in May of this year production departments "Kalamkasmunaigas" and "Zhetybaimunaigas" extracted 708 th. 350 tons of oil that is more by 20 th. 750 tons that it has planned. In May of 2002 the company extracted 392 th. 250 tons of oil. As was informed before, in MMG 2003 plans to extract 4.7 m. tons of oil that is more by 300 th. tons that corresponding last year's level of extraction. [2003-06-24]
