/KASE, December 30, 2020/ – Samruk-Energy (Nur-Sultan), whose bonds are
officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided KASE with
the following communique dated December 29, 2020:

Ekibastuz stations GRES-1 and GRES-2, which are part of the structure of
Samruk-Energy JSC, fulfilled the annual plan for the production of electricity
for 2020 ahead of schedule. According to operational data, with an annual
target of 30,413,995 thousand kWh, the total production amounted to 30,531,153
thousand kWh or 100.4%.
The professionalism of power engineers and reliable operation of the station
facilities also made it possible to ensure the supply of 1,050 million kWh of
electricity to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, including 300 million kWh of
electricity in the summer as part of the trade with Kyrgyzstan to ensure
additional water discharge from Kyrgyz reservoirs to ensure vegetation
irrigation in the lower parts of the Syrdarya river.
