In 2002 Mangistaumunaigas OJSC increased oil production

/Kazakhstan today, January 9, 03/ - Mangistaumunaigas OJSC (MMG), which develops oil field in Mangistau oblast, in 2002 produced 4 m 618.089 th. tons of oil that is more by 218.049 th. tons than it had been planned and by 209.109 th. tons more than in 2001. About this a correspondent of KZ- today was informed in the company. Besides, in the past year there have been produced 3 m 525.014 th. ton of oil at Kalamkas field, 100 th. tons of which are over the plan. Within 2001 production department of "Kalamkasmunaigas" there were produced 3 m 488.160 th. ton of oil. In January-December of 2002 production department of "Kalamkasmunaigas" produced 1 m 93.075 th. tons, of this number the planned - 118.049 th. tons of oil. In 2001 at Zhetibai field there were produced - 920 th. 820 tons of oil. In the past year there were drilled 17 th. 736 meters of rocks. There were set in exploitation 13 new wells (in 2001 - 17 new wells). 189 wells, which were not acting, have been set in exploitation (182 wells in 2001), 157 well of them on Zhetibai group of fields. The technology of production increase, which was used in 2002, by the method of operated hydraulic burst of seams allowed to work up 65 wells and in addition to receive more than 520 th. tons of oil.
