/KASE, September 2, 2019/ – First Heartland Jýsan Bank (Nur-Sultan), whose
securities are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has
provided KASE with the following press release dated September 2, 2019:

The merger of Jýsan Bank and First Heartland Bank is successfully completed.
As a result, the total assets of the united bank – First Heartland Jýsan Bank –
amounted to KZT1.264 trln. The bank's equity rose by 14% – to KZT144 bn, and
clients' funds exceeded KZT620 bn.
"The united bank will provide competitive services on account of the synergy of
the corporate client base of First Heartland Bank and developed product line of
Jýsan Bank. This consolidation of two mutually supplementing businesses will
allow us to restore leading positions in the sphere of banking service", – says
the Chairman of the Management Board of "First Heartland Jýsan Bank" JSC
Bekzhan Pirmatov.
According to the executive, the merger of the two banks was planned as part of
the new business strategy aimed for restoring clients' trust and provision of
the best financial instruments and services to the public.
