First Heartland Jýsan Bank reports completion of audit of financial statements
for 2018 conducted by KPMG, an international audit firm.
According to the consolidated financial statements, the Bank’s assets according
to the 2018 results (then Tsesnabank) decreased by 26% compared to 2017 and came
to KZT1,689.1 bn. The Bank’s liabilities decreased by 29% compared to 2017 and
came to KZT1,472 bn. The Bank’s equity decreased by 1% compared to 2017 and came
to KZT217.2 bn. Tsesnabank’s losses for 2018 amounted to KZT6.6 bn while net
profit received in 2017 amounted to KZT50.6 bn.
However, the auditors expressed adverse opinion on Tsesnabank’s financial
statements for the last year. Inadequate provisions formed on the Bank’s assets
in 2018 that could be material for December 31, 2018 and December 31, 2017 served
as the basis for this opinion of the auditors.
