/KASE, May 17, 2019/– Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) informs that the closing
ceremony of the KASE student project "Stock Exchange Simulator" took place on
May 17, 2019.
The training trading on KASE was conducted from April 1 to April 30, 2019 as
part the Exchange Simulator project. A total of 1,167 students from 46 higher
educational institutions took part in the project. According to the results of
the contest, 30 winners from seven universities were identified (Kazakh-Russian
International University, International University of Information Technologies,
the Eurasian National University named after L. N. Gumilev, NARKHOZ University,
KIMEP University, Kazakh-German University, Turan University).
The total volume of transactions reached KZT5,989.9 mln, the number of transactions
amounted to 13,898. The maximum volume of transactions per person came to
KZT1,745.3 mln, the maximum number of transactions per person was 790.
The purpose of the project is to increase the financial literacy of young people
willing to broaden their professional knowledge and to acquire practical investment
skills.
