oil and gas company engaging in the production, development and exploration of
oil and gas in the pre-Caspian Basin, today announces that on 21 March 2019 the
Company's Board of Directors established a Health, Safety, Environment and
Communities Committee of the Board as part of the Company's initiatives to
further develop its sustainability practices across the Company and its operations
and take further steps in its commitment to improve overall health, safety,
environmental and social performance and better address important issues such
as climate change and gender diversity.
The new committee will be chaired by independent non-executive director Kaat
Van Hecke, and also includes CEO and director Kai-Uwe Kessel and independent
non-executive director Martin Cocker. The HSEC Committee will work closely with
Company management and will report on its activities to the full Board.
