/KASE, February 19, 2019/ – Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE, or the Exchange)
announces that a ceremony of presenting awards to the best performing members
of the Exchange according to 2018 results was held on February 19, 2019.
Kazkommerts Securities (subsidiary of Kazkommertsbank) won the award in the
nomination "The underwriter of the year on the corporate bond market".
The following companies received awards in the nomination "Market leader":
- Freedom Finance – on the equity market;
- subsidiary of Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan "Halyk Finance" – on the
corporate bond market;
- Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan – on the government securities market.
The following companies received awards in the nomination "Market-maker of
the year":
- Freedom Finance – on the equity market;
- subsidiary of Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan "Halyk Finance" – on the
corporate bond market.
Freedom Finance received an award in the nomination "For significant
contribution to attracting investors".
The following companies received awards in the nomination "Leader of the
trading amount":
- SkyBridge Invest – with regard to the amount of trading on the CS secondary
market;
- Citibank Kazakhstan – with regard to the amount of trading on the foreign
currency market.

The winners were determined by KASE's Expert Committee set up in order to
determine the best performing members of KASE in 2018.
The Expert Committee members are:

Management Board;
2) I. Sabitov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board;
3) A. Tsalyuk, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board;
4) N. Khoroshevskaya, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board;
5) K. Turmagambetov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board;
6) Y. Mazhekenov, Director of the Trading Department;
7) V. Litvinov, Head of the Monitoring Department.
