/KASE, February 7, 2019, details of existing ratings added/ – Tengri Bank
(Almaty), whose securities are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange
(KASE), has informed KASE about the following:
On October 30, 2018 Moody 's Investors Service assigned the following ratings
on international scale to Kazakhstan's Tengri Bank: long-term ratings in the
national and foreign currency on deposits В2, BCA b3 and adjusted BCA on b2,
on long-term deposits the valuation of the Counteragent Risk (CRRs) – B1 (CR),
on short-term deposits the risk valuation and CRR s) В1, short-term ratings of
deposits and CRRs – Not Prime and short-term CRA – Not Prime (cr). Outlooks
of the international long-term deposit rating – stable.
Based on the above-mentioned, as well as for purposes of optimizing costs the
Bank turned to S&P Global Ratings with a request to withdraw the ratings. On
December 6, 2018 in reply to the Bank's request S&P Global Ratings withdrew
long-term and short-term issuer ratings of Tengri Bank JSC on international
scale B- / B.
