In December the number of accounts of individuals involved in transactions with shares on KASE decreased by 49.2%

/KASE, January 24, 2019/ – In December 2018, the number of accounts of individuals involved in transactions with shares on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) has decreased by 49.2 % as compared to the previous month. The percentage of individuals in the gross turnover of shares in monetary terms decreased to 39.3% from 48.3% in November 2018. As of the end of December, there were 116,824 personal accounts opened by individuals at the Central Securities Depository (hereinafter – CSD), which is by 560 accounts more than at the end of the previous month.
