/KASE, December 29, 2018, December 13, 2018 news repeat/ – Following a decision
of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange’s (KASE) Board of Directors dated December 12, 2018
amendments No. 2 (amendments) to KASE internal document "Regulation on the
Procedure for Concluding Transactions and Settlements on KASE Startup Platform"
were approved, which are in effect as of January 1, 2018.
The settlement procedure was changed in order to bring it in line with the
amendments to the Law "On Securities Market", on excluding the provision related
to the activities of the Integrated Securities Registrar. As of January 1, 2019,
functions of the Integrated Securities Registrar will be transferred to the
Central Securities Depository.
