/KASE, October 23, 2018/ – Samryk-Energy (Astana), whose bonds are officially
listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided the KASE with press
release, which states as follows:

Coal production for 9 months of this year at “Bogatyr Komir” LLP coal mines in
Ekibastuz made 32 556 thous. tons with planned 29 778 thous. tons. Along with
that, as of today, the company has shipped 32 869 thous. tons of coal, which is
110 percent of the planned volumes.
According to specialists of “Samruk-Energy” power holding company, circa 80
percent of the coal shipped was sent to the country’s power generating enterprises
for electricity and heat production.
Moreover, “Bogatyr Komir” ships solid fuel for public living needs. This is about
small boiler houses in rural areas for which Ekibastuz coal is a key fuel. With
respect to them, the plan for shipment of utility coal (UC) of 1 000 000 tons was
accomplished by September 25 of this year. By now, the volume of deliveries
amounted to 1 037 thous. tons. It should be recalled that UC in the amount of
1 398 551 tons was shipped to consumers during the entire past year.
