Eximbank Kazakhstan as of September 10, 2018 stripped of KASE currency and stock market memberships

/KASE, September 10, 2018/ – Following a decision of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) Board of Directors, as of September 10, 2018 Eximbank Kazakhstan (Almaty) was stripped of its currency and stock market memberships in KASE. This means that Eximbank Kazakhstan is no longer a member of KASE, nor is it entitled to trade in any instruments on KASE. This decision was taken in accordance with sub-items 3) and 4) of item 1 of article 12 of KASE internal document "Regulations on Membership" based on a resolution of the Management Board of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 27, 2018, according to which Eximbank Kazakhstan as of August 28, 2018 was stripped of the license No. 1.2.48/232 for carrying out banking and other transactions and activities on the securities market issued to the bank on January 18, 2017 by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
