/KASE, August 23, 2018/ – The Committee on Indices and Securities Valuation of
Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE or Exchange) as of August 23, 2018 removed bonds
KZ2C0Y10D307 (KZ2C00001477, KASE main market, category" bonds", CTECb1, KZT100,
KZT20.0 bn; December 2, 2008- December 2, 2018 ,fixed annual coupon, 12,50
from the representative list for the corporate bonds market indices calculation
of the main market of Central Asian Power-Energy Company (Almaty) due to the absence
of a market maker:
According to the Methodology of Stock Market Indices Calculation (hereinafter,
the Methodology), availability of a market maker is one of the criteria for
having bonds of any denomination in the representative list of KASE_BM* series.
From August 23, 2018, representative list of KASE_BM* indices will consist of
bonds of 39 denominations.
In accordance with the Methodology, the Exchange calculates the following
corporate bonds market indices of KASE_BM* series:
- KASE_BMY – corporate bonds yield index.
- KASE_BMC – corporate bonds price index calculated according to bonds'
prices without account to accrued interest thereon (by "clear" prices).
- These indicators are calculated by KASE once a day according to results of
trades in corporate bonds.
