Amendments to the Regulations on Membership Fees and Exchange Dues put into effect as of May 17, 2018

/KASE, May 17, 2018/ – By the decision of the Board of Directors of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) dated May 16, 2018 amendments and additions No. 14 (amendments) to the KASE internal document "Regulations on Membership Fees and Exchange Dues" (Regulations), which will become effective on May 17, 2018, have been approved. These amendments were made to set rates and amounts of exchange dues for brokerage firms when they are admitted to the foreign exchange market of KASE. According to the amendments, the entrance membership fee of the "currency" category for a brokerage firm will be 1 500 MCI, monthly membership fees of the "currency" category will be 25 MCI. In addition, the broker shall pay a commission fee to KASE on foreign currency transactions at the rate of 0.0005% of the amount of each transaction made. If such a KASE member is both the seller and the buyer in any transaction, the member will pay the fee for this transaction twice, both as a seller and as a buyer.
