KazAgro National Management Holding says Moody’s Investors Service assigned ratings to company, outlook Stable

/KASE, March 27, 2018/ – KazAgro National Management Holding (Astana), whose
bonds are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has provided
KASE with the following information statement:

London, 20 March 2018 -- Moody's Investors Service, ("Moody's") has assigned
Ba1 long-term foreign currency issuer ratings to KazAgro National Management
Holding JSC (KazAgro). The outlook is stable. The Aa2.kz national scale issuer
rating is assigned.
According to the Agency, KazAgro is the main financial arm of the Government of
Kazakhstan (Baa3, Stable), which uses the holding company to provide financial
support to the agriculture sector through a number of institutions that are
under KazAgro's umbrella.
Thus, ratings assigned mirror important role of KazAgro in developing Kazakhstan's
agriculture and strong link of the Holding with the Kazakhstan government.
KazAgro National Management Holding implements government policy on the
development of Kazakhstan’s agricultural complex by effectively managing
investment assets of the companies that are part of its structure. The following
companies are part of the holding: KazAgroFinance JSC, Agricultural Credit
Corporation JSC, Fund for Financial Support of Agriculture JSC, National
Company Food Contract Corporation JSC, KazAgroProduct JSC,
KazAgroGarant JSC and KazAgroMarketing JSC.
