/KASE, March 15, 2018/ – By the decision of the Board of Directors of Kazakhstan
Stock Exchange (KASE) dated March 14, 2018, amendments and modications No. 4
(changes) to the KASE internal document "Listing Rules" (Rules), which will
become effective on March 15, 2018, have been approved.
These amendments are made for:
- bringing to comformity with the Rules of Executing Trade Activities with
Securities and Other Financial Instruments approved by the resolution of
Board of Agency of Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation and Supervision of
the Financial Market and Financial Organizations No. 170 dated October 29,
2008 and and the Rules for Posting Financial Reporting, Stock Exchange,
Information on Corporate Events, Financial Statements and Audit Reports,
Lists of Affiliates of Joint-Stock Companies and Information on the Total
Amount of Remuneration to Members of an Executive Body by Year Results
approved by the Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of the Republic
of Kazakhstan No. 26 dated January 28, 2016, on depository’s website;
- making procedural clarifications related to listing of securities of
international financial organizations to be issued in accordance with the
legislation of other states in addition to the laws of the Republic of
Kazakhstan, as well as securities issued by a special company under the
guarantee of an international financial organization;
- excluding listing requirements for originator’s ratings when Islamic
securities are listed because this requirement is set by a regulatory legal
act of the authorized body;
- excluding requirements for an issuer that is a high-tech company to submit
expert opinion of the Technology Committee based on the technological audit
as well as requirements to the Technology Committee as there is no
information as to whether such committee exists and operates;
- adding cases on the the grounds on which the securities trading may be
suspended;
- introducing other procedural and editing corrections in the text of the
Rules.
