In December number of individual accounts involved in shares transactions on KASE increased by 16 %

/KASE, January 12, 2017/ – In December 2016 the number of individual accounts involved in shares transactions on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), increased by 16 % compared with the previous month. At the same time the percentage of individuals in the gross turnover of shares in monetary terms decreased to 43.6 % from 46.4 % in November 2016. As of the end of December there were 105,319 personal accounts at Central Securities Depository JSC (hereinafter – CD) opened by individuals, which is by 459 accounts more than at the end of the previous month, and by 3,807 accounts more than at the beginning of 2016.
