In October number of individual accounts involved in shares transactions on KASE decreased by 9 %

/KASE, November 9, 2016/ – In October 2016 the number of individual accounts involved in shares transactions on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), decreased by 9 % compared with the previous month. The percentage of individuals in the gross turnover of shares in monetary terms increased to 48.0 % from 46.8 % in September 2016. As of the end of October there were 104,723 personal accounts at Central Securities Depository JSC (hereinafter – CD) opened by individuals, which is by 276 accounts more than at the end of the previous month, and by 3,211 accounts more than at the beginning of 2016.
