/IRBIS, Dec.21, 00/ - REUTERS informs that today the president of Kazakhstan continued rearrangements in the government, by changing the depute prime-minister and the internal affairs minister. It is said that 39 year old Uraz Djandosov, who was the head of power company KEGOC, was assigned vice-premier, instead of previous vice- premier Erjan Utembaev. Former commander of the national guard of Kazakhstan, Bulat Iskakov is said to be assigned new minister of internal affairs. As his predecessor Utembaev, Djandosov, who had been already the first vice-premier and the head of the National Bank, is said to deal with macroeconomic issues and build the relationships with international financial institutions. Utembaev is said to be released from his office, according to unconfirmed sources, due to the move into a new job. Kairbek Suleimenov, who was the head of the Ministry of internal affairs, became the deputy minister of internal affairs and kept the position of the internal troops commander, is said. The national guard, which was commanded by Iskakov, is a special unit under the command of the country's president. Recently former minister of internal affairs, Suleimenov and general prosecutor, Yuri Khitrin received reprimands from the head of the country for unsatisfactory work, is said. There are rumors that it is not the end of shifts in the government and that the minister of economy, Jaksybek Kulekeev can be substituted by the deputy head of the president's administration, Jannat Ertlesova, who was the first deputy minister of economy in 1995-1997. Still there are two vacancies for the ministers. One for the minister of education and science and the environment protection minister. These ministers were assigned the heads of two regions two days ago. The first vice-premier is not assigned yet.
