Capitalization of the Kazakhstan Exchange market of corporate bonds declined by $2.5 mln down to $132.78 mln in October

/IRBIS, Dec.5, 00/ - On November 30 capitalization of the Exchange market
for corporate bonds, calculated at face values of the securities (total face
values of all bonds entered into the KASE trade lists), equaled $132.78 mln.
or KZT19,140.2 mln at current exchange rate and decreased by $2.5 mln
within a month. Decrease in capitalization was due to removing the
discounted bonds of KEGOC OJSC (Astana) from official list of the KASE
securities under category "A" from November 1 due to the end of their
circulation term.
Capitalization of the corporate bonds of Kazakhstan based on their best
bids, that put out regularly by their market-makers in the trade system of the
Exchange, was fixed at $129.7 mln or KZT18,698.5 mln at current rate of the
Exchange as of November 30.
As of late November, 10 corporate bonds of 10 issuers were in trade lists of
the KASE. Nine of them were in official list of the securities under category
"A". The trades are open in bonds of ten issuers.
