/IRBIS, Oct 06, 00/ - On October 06 capitalization of the Exchange market
for corporate bonds equaled $105.0 mln. or KZT14,967.1 mln at current
exchange rate. This figure includes nominal value of all bonds included in
KASE trade lists. The present figure did not change for the forty first week.
Currently, 10 corporate bonds of 10 issuers can be traded at the trade floor
of the KASE, of which nine are included into official list of securities
category "A". Trades are opened in bonds of 9 issuers (KEGOK OJSC bonds have not
been floated yet, the auction date will be announced later).
Just recently, KASE started to estimate on regular basis new parameter
related to bonds market. This parameter indicates the sector capitalisation at
best bid prices that constantly quoted in the trade system by corporate
bonds (category "A") market-makers. On the closing of the day, this
parameter was fixed at $100.5 mln or KZT14,315.8 mln at the exchange rate
of KASE. Such sizeable difference with nominal figure is related to absence
of KEGOC OJSC bonds o the market.
