Temirbank (Kazakhstan) to receive 3.6 euro from the Belgian bank

/IRBIS, May 30, 00/ - REUTERS informs, with the reference to the public
relations department of the bank, that the Kazakhstani private bank
Temirbank signed 3.6 mln euro loan agreement with the Belgian bank KBC
Bank N.V.
It is said insurance coverage of the loan was granted for five years by the
Belgian export loans insurance company Office National Du Ducroire (OND).
The loan is said to be used to finance the industrial sector of Kazakhstan and
to import the Belgian equipment.
Kazakhstan stock exchange (KASE) informs that during the first quarter of
this year net income of the bank reached KZT75,851 mln against KZT49,987
mln loss in the first quarter of last year.
The bank is one of the biggest banks of the country and was put into the first
group of banks switching to international standards and is a member of the
system of collective insurance of the deposits.
