/IRBIS, 16.03.00/ - According to the National Securities Commission of Kazakhstan (NSC) the sum of net pension assets (PA) of republic (the sum of pension assets minus the charged commission compensations and accounts payable on pension payments) as of March 01, 2000 has made 70,446.2 million tenges or $500.7 million at this date average weighted market dollar rate. On February 01, 2000 this parameter was 67,594.5 million tenges or $485.1 million. For a month the Accumulative Pension Fund assets have grown by 4.2% in tenge and by 3.2% - in dollars. The growth rate in the previous month was faster. In January the assets have grown by 4.8% in tenge by 4.0% - in dollars. By the beginning of March the full PA amount has made 70,615.7 million tenges, from them 70,103,3 million have been invested. In total there are seven Pension Assets Management Companies (PAMC), 15 private and one State Accumulative Pension Fund (SAPF) in Kazakhstan. The share of SAPF assets has decreased for a month from 51.7 to 50.1%. The largest private PAMC at the end of January are: Closed JSC APF of Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan (16.8% of all assets) and Closed JSC "ONPF Ular" (6.7%). In volumes of controlled assets the Pension Assets Management Company of the Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan is leading (16.8% of all PA), the second in the list is, as one manth before, PAMC ZHETYSU (10.5%). Closed JSC APF KORGAU had in February the greatest growth rate of assets (155.0% in tenge and 152.5% in dollars). SAPF had the lowest growth rate. Is remarkable that in the last month the disposition was the same. But the KORGAU assets growth rate increased 10 times.
