ANNOUNCEMENT: Practical conference "Annual reports: leaders' experience and new standards" scheduled for December 11 in Almaty

/LLP "Rating agency "Expert RA Kazakhstan", November 22, 12, heading by KASE/ - Rating agency "Expert RA Kazakhstan" and magazine "Expert Kazakhstan" will hold first practical conference on the subject of "Annual reports: leaders' experience and new standards" in Almaty on December 11, 2012. Conducting of the conference is a response to ever increasing actuality of issues regarding increasing of corporate reporting standards among Kazakhstan's public companies. In conditions of a global macroeconomic turbulence, increasing the quality of information presented to investors, including annual reports is becoming problem No. 1, since it is the main document allowing an insight into the company for purposes of assessing its growth prospects. First practical conference "Annual reports: leaders' experience and new standards" will become an event during which results of the II Competition of Annual reports conducted by Rating agency "Expert RA Kazakhstan" since 2011 will be presented. The competition's goal is to enable participants to disclose their achievements in annual reporting, as well as draw attention of the business circles to the issue of creation and promotion of the annual report. 21 company took part in the competition in 2011. The winners were: in nomination "Best annual report in non-finance sector" - JSC "NC "KazMunaiGaz", in nomination "Best annual report in financial sector" - JSC "IC "Kommesk-Omir", in nominations "Best interactive edition of annual report" and "Designing and Printing" - JSC "KazMunaiGaz Exploration Production". In the first part of the practical conference recognized experts from the financial sector will discuss the role of the annual report as one of key instruments of interaction between investors and issuers, importance of information transparency as a factor of successful raising of investments and other important issues. Second section of the conference provides for discussion of practical issues of creating an annual report: - Practice of preparing of annual report. From drawing up to implementation. - Optimal structure as a factor of a successful annual report. - Implementation of the design idea in the annual report.
