Annual general meeting of Rakhat (Kazakhstan) shareholders scheduled for May 24, 2012

/KASE, April 23, 12/ - Rakhat (Almaty, hereinafter - the company), whose shares are officially listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), has informed KASE that on May 24, 2012 at 16:00 o'clock the annual general meeting of the Company's shareholders is to start, with issues on the agenda as follows: - Approval of the report of the Company's Board of Directors on Y2011 operations; - approval of the Company's Y2011 audited annual consolidated financial statements; - approval of Y2011 net income distribution procedure; - consideration of shareholders' appeals over actions of the Company and its officers and results in 2011.
