FSC NBK suspends placement of bonds KZ2C0Y05C788, KZ2C00001493 (ALTMb1) of Almatytemir (Kazakhstan)

/KASE, July 18, 11/ - Committee on Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market and Financial Organizations of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan (FSC NBK) has sent to Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) a copy of Resolution # 37 dated July 4, 2011 of the acting Chairman of FSC NBK "On suspension of placement of unsecured coupon bonds of Almatytemir". The resolution rules: quote 1. To suspend placement of unsecured coupon bonds of the joint-stock company Almatytemir due to its failure to fulfill interest payment on coupon bonds placed earlier. 2. This resolution is effective from the day of its adoption. unquote In addition FSC NBK communicated that according to item 2 of article 25 of the act of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Securities Market", Almatytemir's registrar, JSC "Kompania Registrator" (Almaty), and JSC "Central Securities Depository" (Almaty) must suspend registering deals involving placement of serial securities from the moment they received a decision of the authorized body on suspension of placement of those securities.
