Moody's assigned a final rating of Baa3 notes Kazakhstan Temir Zholy

/IRBIS, October 6, 2010/ - Moody's Investors Service today assigned a final
rating of Baa3 senior unsecured debt bonds in the amount of $ 700 million,
with a rate of 6.375% per annum, maturing in 2020 issued by Kazakhstan
Temir Zholy Finance BV, a special financial a company registered in the
Netherlands, owned by JSC National Company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy"
(KTZ) (0.36%) and its subsidiary JSC Kaztemirtrans ("Kaztemirtrans)
(99.64%).
Notes are guaranteed by KTZ and its principal subsidiaries, JSC
Kaztemirtrans and JSC "Locomotive." "Stable" outlook.
As indicated, the final rating of Moody's said bond confirms preliminary rating
assigned to the September 27, 2010.
It is noted that the notes were issued to finance the group members KTZ for
use for general corporate purposes, including refinancing needs, investment
and working capital financing.
