/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Almaty, February 23, 09/ - Kazakhstan commercial Halyk Bank offered new issue of 25 m. 528.925 th. global depositary receipts (GDR), the bank's message says. According to the message, the value of one GDR makes $3.075 per receipt. One GDR is issued for 4 common shares of this credit organization. The message says that the bank has the right for offering of 140 m. GDR, which will be included into the listing of London Stock Exchange. March 13 is set as the last registration day for shareholders, willing to use their option right. As informed, February 13, 2009 is the register fixation date of shareholders to use the option right. Securities of Halyk Bank are traded at Kazakhstan and London Stock Exchanges. Halyk Bank made IPO in December 2006. Within IPO the bank offered GDR at London Stock Exchange on the upper limit of price range - $16 per security. The bank's main owner - holding group Almex, which offered 42.5 m. receipts at $680 m. performed as marketer shareholder. One GDR was issued for 4 shares of credit organization. By results of the first half year of 2008, Halyk Bank was assigned the 15th place among CIS banks and the 3rd place among Kazakhstan banks on volume of assets according to Interfax-1000 ranking, made by Interfax-CEA.
