Kazagrofinance plans an up to $200 m Eurobonds issue in July-September 2008

/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Almaty, June 6, 08/ - The state institution Kazagrofinance JSC intends to issue the Eurobonds for the amount up to $200 m. in July-September of the current year for financing of projects in APC, Ibragim Tagashev the chairman of the Board of the Company informed. "Now we are in preparations and planning to finish the work in the nearest time. The issue of Eurobonds is planned within July-September in the volume up to $200 m.", - he told to Interfax-Kazakhstan agency on Friday in Almaty. "We have to finish the report a the Deloitte auditor's company and after that we'll execute the issue and offering", - he added. By his information, the Citi and JP Morgan are appointed as the organizers of deal. Initially, the company announced the plans to execute the Eurobonds' issue in the beginning of the current year. Kazagrofinance provides leasing and credit services in agrarian sector. The sources of operations, executed are the budget funds, borrowed from foreign financial institutions and accumulated own funds of the company. Kazagrofinance JSC was founded in 1999 by the resolution of the government with the aims of assistance to APC in provision of village producers of goods with the mechanics and technological equipment, and also for realization of the state policy for support and improvement of financial relations in the village by using of world experience of leasing relations.
