Head of state confirmed the amends to republican budget-2007, deficit of which to GDP reduces from 2.2% to 1.7%

/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Astana, October 27, 07/ - President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev signed the law about inclusion of changes and additions to republican budget for year 2007, state Mass media informed on Saturday. Parliament accepted these amends on October 19. As it was informed, changes in republican budget of current year were included with aim of solving the tasks for stabilization of social-economic situation in the country, where for the last time under influence of world tendencies was observed the growth of prices on consumer market, negative processes in building of habitation and banking sphere. Income part of republican budget was increased by KZT175.1 bn. (current 120.777/$1). Bases for determination of additional sources of income part of budget was the reconsideration of macro-economical indicators, in particular, forecast of nominal size of GDP for current year, and incomes from one-time payments. In the expenditure part of budget general additional sum for distribution made KZT155.7 bn., which will be directed on increase of spending of state companies: Kazakhstan mortgage company JSC - KZT20.5 bn, from them KZT12 bn. in form of crediting for financing of habitation building; Kazakhstan fund of mortgage credits security JSC - KZT1 bn.; National scientific-technological holding Samgau JSC - KZT12.2 bn. and fund for stable development Kazyna JSC - KZT122 bn. Funds, extracted to state fund Kazyna and holding Samgau will be directed on crediting of small and middle business and also possible purchasing of shares of Kazakhstan companies on international stock exchanges. Thus, parameters of specified republican budget for 2007 now are making: incomes - 2 tr. 273.3 bn. tenge (17.1% to expected GDP this year), expenditures - 2 tr. 502.9 bn. tenge (18.8% to GDP), deficit - 229.6 bn (1.7% to GDP). Earlier the republican budget of Kazakhstan for year 2007 was planned with deficit KZT271.2 bn. or 2.2% to forecasted volume of GDP for this year. At that its income part was planned in size of 2 tr. 098.2 bn. tenge, general costs - 2 tr. 369.4 bn. tenge. In Kazakhstan the republican budget is the main financial document of the country.
