Exploration Production KazMunayGas JSC informed about increase of oil production in January-October of 2006

/KASE, November 17, 06/ - Exploration Production KazMunayGas JSC (Astana), shares of which are traded in Kazakhsatn stock exchange's (KASE) category "A" official listing, had informed about increased oil production for the first ten months of 2006. For the period of January to October 2006, on the fields of the company were produced 7,965 thousand tons of oil and gas condensate, an increase of 171 thousand tons when compared to the similar period of 2005. Exploration Production KazMunayGas JSC informs that in the period January to October 2006, the company supplied 2,264 thousand tons of oil to the domestic market through the system of oil-trunk pipelines of KazTransOil JSC. In addition, in the first ten months of the year, the company exported 5,585 thousand tons of oil, 2.4% more than for the similar period of 2005. [2006-11-17]
