AFS concluded memorandums of cooperation and interaction in questions of increasing clarity of their activity with 16 commercial banks

/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Almaty, September 6, 06/ - State agency of financial supervision (AFS) of Kazakhstan to the beginning of September had signed with 16 banks of second level (STB) memorandums of cooperation and interaction in questions of increasing clarity of bank's activity, the head of AFS Arman Dunayev informed on the press-conference on Wednesday in Almaty. In memorandum it is foresee the publishment by bank who had signed it, through Mass Media, web-sites the information about great participants of bank down to physical persons, about daughter and dependent bank's organizations, about strategy of business development and primary directions of activity, also about staff of board of directors, including independent directors. By information of A.Dunayev to the pointed date it was signed by: Kazkommertsbank, Bank TuranAlem, Halyk bank, ATFBank, Alliance bank, Bank CenterCredit, bank Caspian, Temirbank, Tsesnabank, Eksimbank, Kazinvestbank, Neftebank, Danabank, Senim bank and Zaman bank. At that, A.Dunayev informed, that form signed the memorandum the information about shareholders in time 13 banks had opened, two banks (Eksimbank and Senim bank) can open the information later, Zaman bank did not publish the information. Meanwhile, Alliance bank and Danabank did not open the information about staff of board of directors in time. With it, seven banks did not open their strategy in time: Alliance bank, Halyk, CenterCredit, Nurbank, Zaman bank, Senim bank and Eksimbank. To the situation on August 1 2006 the banking sector of republic was represented by 34 STB, from which 14 - are banks with foreign participation, including 9 daughter banks - nonresidents of republic.
