"Kazakhinstrakh" JSC (Almaty) has furnished Kazakhstan stock exchange
(KASE) within listing requirements with financial statement for second
quarter of year 2006. Indicator for the similar period of year 2005 is
given in parenthesis.
According to the furnished data net loss of the company for the mentioned
period made KZT56.9 m. (net income KZT117.5 m.)
According to the audited data of Company of foreign insurance
"Kazakhinstrakh" JSC income from insurance activity for the second
quarter of the current year made KZT226.5 m. (KZT284.4 m) with charges
on insurance payments in size of KZT82.0 m. (KZT37.1 m.).
Assets of Company of foreign insurance "Kazakhinstrakh" JSC as of July 1
2006 totaled KZT5,456.6 m., in comparison with KZT3,794.3 m. as of
January 1 2006.
Equity capital of the company as of July 1 of year 2006 made KZT2,066.5
m. in comparison with KZT1,978.9 m. as of beginning of the year.
Authorized capital for the reporting period did not change and to the
end of second quarter is estimated by the company at KZT540.0 m.
