Bank Center Credit JSC informed about main results of activity in the first half-year of 2006 - press release

/KASE, August 8, 06/ - Bank CenetrCredit JSC (Almaty), whose shares and bonds are traded in Kazakhstan stock exchange's official securities list under "A" category, has spread today the press release, saying: Quotation start Bank CenetrCredit JSC by the results of the first half-year of 2006 got net income in size of KZT3.5 bn., compared to KZT2.1 bn. for the similar period of year 2005. at that, interest income of the bank for the specified period made KZT20.5 bn., whereas for the corresponding period of the previous year this indicator totaled KZT10.1 bn., i.e. two times bigger. The bank's assets, according to the report, during the year (that is, since July 1, 2005) grew from KZT224.4 bn. to KZT410.6 bn., liabilities - from KZT207.7 bn. to KZT381.2 bn. In addition, the shareholders equity of the bank for the analyzed period increased from KZT23.3 bn. to KZT54.9 bn., authorized - from KZT9.9 bn. to KZT16.3 bn. Bank CenetrCredit offered eurobonds in the first half-year of 2006 for a total of $300 m. with fixed coupon 8% APR and circulation term 5 years, issued termless debit hybrid notes for $100 m. with possibility of paying-off in 10 years, borrowed Islam financing of Murabah for a total of $38 m. with term 1 year syndicate loan of Schuldscheindarlehen for an amount of $100 m. and syndicate credit for $300 m.
