KTZh will rise tariffs on using of cars and containers and takings on extra operations

/INTERFAX-KAZAKHSTAN, Astana, July 20, 06/ - National railway company Kazakhstan temir zholy (KTZh) since August 1 of the current year will rise tariffs on using of cars and containers, and also takings on extra services of delivery, press service of the company informed. By order of the head of KTZh, dated July 19, 2006, payment rates for using of cars and containers, and also takings on extra operations, connected with cargo delivery have been increased, they will take effect since August 1, 2006," it is specified in the press release, spread on Thursday. "At that, the step-up coefficient in size of 1.234 will be applied for payment rates for using of cars and containers, and also extra takings on extra operations of cargo delivery," - message notifies. Besides that, as press service informed, "coefficient of 1.3 will be applied for payment rates for using of cargo cars, containers and transporters if downtime from 31 to 45 days takes place, more 45 days - coefficient 3". "This measure will be motivating in respect of cargo receivers and branches owners, in order to dismiss working ark of cargo cars and containers on time, that will allow to increase production capacity and cars turnover indicators. Dismissed working park will give opportunity to receive income from extra volume of deliveries, which will positively affect developing of railway branch and economy of the republic, in general", - it is noted in the press release.
