KazTransOil JSC (Kazakhstan) has informed of results of its production and financial activity for the first six months of 2006 - press release

/KASE, July 7, 06/ - KazTransOil JSC (Astana), bonds of which are traded in Kazakhstan stock exchange's (KASE) official "А" listing category, has spread press release which says as follows: Citation start On July 4 of 2006 enlarged meeting of Board of KazTransOil JSC took place, presided by General Director, Berik Z. Tolumbaev, in which members of Board of the company, directors of branches and departments, the heads of oil pipelines departments took part. Within the frameworks of the meeting results of financial and economical, and also production activities of KazTransOil JSC have been considered for the first six months of 2006. According to operative data in January - June 2006 the volume of oil transportation by KazTranOil JSC's system made 20,726 th. tons of oil, that was higher planning index by 14% (planн - 18,174), and by 2,346 th. tons more than had been transported for analogical period of 2005 (18,380 th. tons). Turnover of oil delivery due to preliminary data for six months made 14,130 m. tons km, that surpassed plan fixed by 21% (plan - 11,727 m. tons km) and higher than corresponding indicators of 6 months last year by 2,004 m. tons km (turnover of oil delivery for the first six months of 2005 made 12,126 m. tons km). KazTransOil JSC implements water supply to Western region of Kazakhstan through pipeline Astrakhan-Mangyshlak. In the first six months of current year water supply volume made 10,152 th. cub.m or 117. 6 % from plan fixed (plan - 8,630 th. cub. m). In comparison with the first six months of 2005 supply of Volga increased by 1184 th. cub. м (8,968 th. cub.м). According to preliminary data Principal investment program (PI) performance for the first six months of 2006 made KZT10,308 m. or 120% from plan (plan - KZT8,570 m.).
